I was sitting and thinking about what a LONG weekend it had been without Jord around and how hard it was to manage, but I was so delighted by the joy Brinley had watching the fireworks. I feel like I have just been focusing on the negative aspects of motherhood lately and I need to "redirect my focus". In doing so, I may take a break from FB for a while and this blog will be a place where people can see what I am doing (if they care, haha). I am just trying to see how to get my albums transferred. Though, finally, after a week of figuring that out, I think I found a source, so this may be my last night on FB! :) Good to hear from you... come on here soon! :)Carolhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10024296420152006579noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1404770138046237616.post-1843116501996765182011-07-31T19:06:01.612-04:002011-07-31T19:06:01.612-04:00I'm glad you're writing about your life an...I'm glad you're writing about your life and your 3 babies and your food. I start by blending about 1-2 cups milk or (or coconut or rice milk) with a whopping amount of spinach. Then add frozen berries and about 1/2 dropper full of liquid Stevia with vanilla (available at Kroger, though it is expensive). Yummy, yummy, yummy. It's better than ice cream.Crystal Mannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13097803437645555683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1404770138046237616.post-50679416944222804712011-02-06T10:45:37.634-05:002011-02-06T10:45:37.634-05:00That is very interesting. I was just reading how to minimize the gas-effects with dry beans through a cooking method (silly me, I already forgot what it was--had to do with the number of times beans were rinsed or something--I'm sure you already know about it).

I have actually never been to Health Nut. I really want to go now. I have been to Fresh Air a couple of times but was really not impressed. They seem to hardly have anything there it seemed to me.

I'm going to have to hit the Timberlake Kroger more. Even my husband has told me he thinks their produce selection is better. We eat a ton of raw fruits and veggies, so that is the main thing I hunt for when shopping at the grocery. :)Crystal Mannhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13097803437645555683noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1404770138046237616.post-76763475026457172602011-02-05T17:25:06.844-05:002011-02-05T17:25:06.844-05:00I love your honesty, and this blog. As of late, I've been navigating to your blog for ideas, but now it's time to implement them.

As you know, Matt and I have been on that South Beach Diet. Too often we bend the rules but have found ourselves surprisingly uncomfortable after eating things we don't normally eat - like chick-fil-A fries, pizza among other things. I am very glad for those reactions and hope to continue on this track of reduce fat, sugar and other not to great things. I'm a bit stumped by salad ideas and would love if you could post some salad options. I am also trying to do less meats and beans are a great option but i struggle to figure out what to make to go with it or as part of the dish. If you have some bean recipe ideas, I would love to see them posted.

Thanks for all these recipes and ideas.
